Man, talk about my admiring public! Dad and Mom got home yesterday and today we went to the Sparks-O-Rama. It was really weird, they had five participating teams and didn't want to have three teams competing or only two, so they invented the AWANA pentagon. It was really weird and our Sparks team received fourth place ribbons. I don't know why, we were beat by all of the other teams and one of our kids got a second place ribbon. I don't think the AWANA of the greater Las Vegas area can quite handle a pentagon. The weekend is nice. I'm glad about the lack of school even though we had to get up at 6:30ish to be at the church at 7:00 to leave "promptly" at 7:15. We didn't get gone 'til 7:31. Not that I was constantly checking my watch or anything. The AWANA is almost kind of organized here. Someone found our new geocache. Ok, I'm scraping for things to say here. I'm not into things continuing on after it's already lost it's coolness. Sooo, whenever you want an update about my wild and crazy life, just push the eight comment line. :) Here's your chemistry question for the day: Without cheating, what is a more common name for Magnesium Sulfate or MgSO4?

Oh, I love the leaving promptly line! It's even better when they promise to leave behind any kid who doesn't make it on time!
MgS04=grapefruit juice.
IMP WINS!! :)
Is it sulpheric acid?
Yeah, that promt stuff gets us everytime. The pentagon was weird, and that's messed up with those ribbons, we got 5th place! Is it salt?
No, that's H2SO4, at least I had the SO4 part right!
Zachary, that reminds me of a joke. A professor asks his class if they know what H2SO4 is. A young man raises his hand, then questions his own answer. "Oh, I know this. It's on the tip of my tongue." The professor replies, "Well, spit it out. It's sulphuric acid."
Now *that's funny*. Oh, I forgot this was Caleb's blog. So, to you, Caleb, I don't really have a comment. Maybe I do. I found what MgSO4 was, but I cheated using the internet. So, I won't spoil your surprise by revealing this closely guarded secret.
Is it zinc? I actually have no idea and am barely getting a B in my chemistry class so I wouldn;t know.
I was going to say salt but since Zachary nixed that one I'll go with Katie. Grapefruit Juice.
Hey, if this was boulderdash, I would get a point!
Nevada is an awana superpower. When I went to jv jam they had like a thousand kids from your great state.
It doesn't matter because chuck norris destroyed the periodic table. The only element he recognizes is surprise.
I'm with Richardson. Good one. Thanks to that Chuck Norris. My hero!
