How was yours? You could say that ours was pretty normal but that would be untruthful. Most of you already know this stuff but just to recap: On Wednesday we drove down to Phoenix. About two-thirds of the way down there we received a call that Granddad was in the hospital 'cause of his knee. This was not totally new news to us because we had visited with them a couple of days before. Still, it was kind of a bummer that he wouldn't be there when we got there. After Aunt Carey and Grandmom refused to let us in to the house, we went to see Granddad. He said that he was really hoping to get out the next day at nine in the morning. To make a long story short, he did not get out at nine on Thursday. Thankfully, he did get out at noonish on Friday. The big Thanksgiving shenanigans were post-poned to Friday and they were great! After all of the food and some good ole Bobby Badfingers, we played Karaoke Revolution. Amazingly enough, almost everyone played with the exception of Lyndsay. It was somewhat weird but it was fun. After that we went to Zoo Lights with Uncle Randy's family and had a fun time there. All in all it was a fun, albeit weird Thanksgiving. Any gaps in the story will have to be filled in by others in the family. For those of you who weren't there, you have to post about your experiences. One last thing, when, in y'alls opinion, is it acceptable to a) Put up Christmas decorations and b) Listen to Christmas music?

It was a fun Thanksgiving, wasn't it? I think that you can put up the decorations the day after Thanksgiving, and for the music...... I guess maybe the beginning of November is good. I don 't really know. :)
I should refuse to comment, as I'm pretty sure your errant apostrophes are there for the sole purpose of annoying the heck outta me. But I choose to take the high road and love you anyway.
I agree with Eisel, the day after Thanksgiving is the earliest that I will allow myself to put up Christmas decorations/lights. A few houses on our street had lights up the weekend before Thanksgiving...kinda crazy.
Day after Thanksgiving on both issues. I have not done the lights yet, but we did listen to Christmas music at the Klocke's!
Dude, you don't read about Harleys or dream about them? I can excuse the no reading about them, but who doesn't dream about Harleys? It's like breathing, or eating, or sleeping. It's only natural. I scoff at you not dreaming about Harleys! Choughghghhgh. <----- That's me scoffing.
glad you had a fun Thanksgiving! I vote for both decorations and music the day after Thanksgiving!
